Grootboerboels is a family owned business who are passionate about dogs in general and the Boerboel specifically.

All of our foundation breeding males and females were imported directly from South Africa, from one of the best breeding and show bloodlines available. We proud ourselves with some rare and highly functional bloodlines with both fertility and longevity, thus bringing a whole new level of quality to our program.

All of our breeding dogs are fully SABBS registered, appraised, DNA tested, with majority having hip and elbow screening.

We are registered with SABBS and SA Studbook.

Our selection process for breeding is very thorough as we pay attention to temperament, conformation as well as genealogy, making sure the end result is always a GrootBoerboel!
